Blue Tigers Eye Keepsake Bag

Before I learned to set stones in Silver, I would set stones in leather! Every once in while I will make one of my original stone set leather bags. I love making these little keepsake bags in which you can store your special treasures in! These are a unique one-of-a-kind item. Your favorite crystals, your favorite rocks, or whatever other item makes your heart smile, put it in your pouch! 
I hand make these little bags, I cut the strips, pull and twist on the strips to make sure they’re strong. The stone is stitched into the bag and I adorn some of the fringe  with turquoise and silver beads. Feel free to add more beads and stick some feathers in the beads too! 

This bag is made out of deerskin. The stone set in it is a Blue Tigers Eye. The bag is a smaller pouch, measuring  about 4 1/2 inches long and about 2 1/2 “ wide.  With the fringe it measures about 11 inches long (from the top of the bag to the longest piece of fringe). With the strap measures 27 inches. You can always adjust the strap by tying another knot in it. Deerskin is very soft and flexible and comfortable to wear. This item is completely handmade in my studio by me.
